How are import and export charges calculated?

The import charges are charged only once when our customers bring their items into our warehouse. If you can fit all your items on the 1 pallet that is provided, then you only pay the $8 charge for the 1 pallet you imported into our warehouse. If you import 2 pallets into our warehouse, then the charge is $16.

The export charges are also charged only once when customers are done with their storage. You may take your items and return our pallet back to us. If you took 2 pallets from us, then you will return us 2 pallets, and your total charges are $16 as well.

Note: Import and export charges are unrelated to retrieval charges. Import and export charges will only be charged once per unique pallet that is imported or exported. If you retrieve your items multiple times during your storage journey, you will not be charged multiple import/export charges.

How are storage charges calculated?

You may choose your storage charges from our 2 available packages.

If you plan to store with us for a short time, then we recommend the weekly package. It will cost you $10 per pallet per week. Roughly $0.63 per sqft per week!

If you plan to store with us for a long time, then we recommend getting the 4 week package. It will cost $36 per pallet per 4 weeks. Roughly $2.40 per sqft per month. It is roughly 10% cheaper!

How are retrieval charges calculated?

You may choose your retrieval charges from our 2 available packages.

If you do not plan to retrieve your items often, then we recommend paying on a per retrieval basis. This will cost $8 each time you want to retrieve 1 pallet.

If you do need your items very often, then we recommend buying a package, which will allow 10 retrievals per month. It is roughly 20% cheaper!

If you are uncertain, don't worry! We do allow upgrades or downgrades to retrieval packages.

What if my items do not fit on the pallets?

Our racking can accommodate much larger items as well!

For larger items, you may combine 2 pallets together. For example, if your item length is 2.4 meters, you may store your item on 2 pallets instead. However, do note that your storage charges, retrieval charges, and import/export charges will also be based on 2 pallets instead of 1.

Scenario 1:

Tom sent his items to Storage SG for storage. Total storage required was 32 sqft, which fit on 2 pallets.

Storage lasted for 16 weeks.

After 16 weeks, Tom retrieve his items from Storage SG.

Scenario 1: Total Charges

One-time import of 2 pallets:
$8 x 2 = $16

2 pallet storage for 16 weeks:
$72 x 4 = $288

Retrieval of 2 pallets:
$8 x 2 = $16

One-time export of 2 pallets:
$8 x 2 = $16

Total charges for 32 sqft of space: $192

Scenario 1 + Scenario 2:

On week 12, Tom required an additional 2 pallets of storage.

On week 13, Tom came down to Storage SG to retrieve an item from one of his pallets.

Scenario 1 + Senario 2: Total Charges

One-time import of 4 pallets:
$8 x 4 = $32

2 pallets storage for 16 weeks:
$36 x 2 x 4 = $288

2 (additional) pallets storage for 4 weeks:
$36 x 2 x 1 = $72

Retrieval of 5 pallets:
$8 x 5 = $40

One-time export of 4 pallets:
$8 x 4 = $32
